Project Manager: Manage all stages of construction projects, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and personnel. Plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities from project inception to project completion. Analyze project plans, specifications, proposals, and construction documents and prepare detailed project schedules, phases, and timelines. Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, city officials, subcontractors, and vendors during the course of the project to ensure the project is built per blueprint plans and specifications and within the defined schedule and budget. Manage engineering support for construction, including construction planning and design, documentation and resolution of design conflicts, and constructability reviews. Review engineering plans and specifications and work with project and civil engineers to clarify field plans and technical specifications. Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents. Coordinate project materials design, engineering, fabrication, and site delivery logistics. Schedule and perform subcontractor job walks and respond to all pre-bid Requests for Information (RFI) and subcontractor questions. Review and approve subcontractor applications for payment and prepare and submit owner requisitions. Maintain RFI logs in the project information system and maintain and update project submittals, drawings, specifications, and logs to reflect current project scope. Prepare periodic project progress reports and make changes as necessary. Conduct project close-out and document waivers, manuals, and warranties.
Requirements: The position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in CAD, Construction Quality Management, and Construction Cost Estimating.
40 hours/week.
